Happy Diwali 2015: Let the Light of Love and Happiness Shine Through
Wedding Champs would like to wish all our Indian couples and the entire Indian community a Happy Diwali! We hope this divine festival brings more success and happiness for you and your loved ones. And, let this celebration give joy to others, share blessings and touch lives.
In Indian faith, Diwali or the Festival of Lights signifies the victory of good against evil. Thus, it is considered to be the largest and brightest Hindu festival of the Indian calendar year. The preparations and rituals normally extend over a five-day period but the main celebration takes place on the night of Diwali, of which this year falls on the 11th of November.
During the Diwali night, Indians light up some lamps and candles inside and outside their homes. Then offer prayers seeking for a blissful year ahead to Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth. And to show their gratefulness, people visit the homes of their friends and relatives to rejoice and share the celebration.
Indeed, there’s no festival as colourful as Diwali. During the celebration, streets are dominated with vibrant displays and paintings while houses are dynamically decorated from floral arrangements to delectable culinary spread. Indians wear their finest dresses with dazzling ensembles and sparkly gold jewels. Thus, this event is one the most photographed occasions not just for Indians but the entire Hindu community around the world.
Diwali is significantly one of the happiest holidays for Indians. Nonetheless, it is also the most inspiring occasion for them. The celebration denotes new light for those who have been stuck in the darkness and new beginning for the people who have suffered. Truly, life gets better for those who believe.
Once again, Happy Diwali everyone!
